The year 2024 will mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia. In light of this, GPEX organised an educational tour from 7 to 12 April for 153 educators from 100 educational institutions to visit Hailiang Education’s preschools and gain insights from its experts in STEAM education, special education and nature-based early childhood education.
The tour facilitated knowledge transfer, enabling entrepreneurs to absorb best practices, share innovative approaches and understand how advanced educational technologies are integrated into the classroom. This experience not only enhanced their operational skills, but also contributed to industry development by showcasing China’s EdTech innovations. By immersing themselves in these innovations, the participants were able to drive growth and make breakthroughs in their respective businesses.
This educational initiative was an important step in the long partnership between China and Malaysia in pre-school education, and emphasised the importance of continuous learning and cooperation between educators.
Notable attendees included Mr. Syed Farizal Aminy, Consul General of Malaysia in Shanghai, and Mr. Yuan Minyao, Vice Mayor of Zhuji City.
