As part of its annual commitment to enhancing the educational landscape, GPEX organised a workshop for its key partners. This year’s workshop featured the expertise of Matthew Ellman, the Professional Learning and Development Manager at Cambridge University Press and Assessment. The event brought together education managers from various sectors, including preschools, Chinese independent schools, learning centres, and master trainers from the Kuala Lumpur and Penang State Education Department.
The workshop, titled ‘Creating the Conditions for Teachers to Thrive: Tips for Educational Managers,’ delved into the crucial role of the school environment in teacher development and effectiveness, as supported by recent research. Matthew Ellman, a seasoned educator with a wealth of international experience, shared invaluable insights. He introduced the concept of teacher leadership and provided actionable guidance for educational managers on nurturing teacher leaders within their institutions.
This event provided a unique platform for key partners to further their knowledge and skills, contributing to the growth and improvement of educational practices
